Our free player safety instruction takes place at our store or at the park in season. It consists of an industry approve video, a gun handling demonstration, tank filling instruction, tips on gun safety during maintenance and specific tips on how to play with your particular paint marker safely. 2. First Co2 fill free by a qualified fill station operator. We will Inspect your tank and give you some tips on how to use safely, what to watch out for while having it filled and how to maintain it. We will purge it, and fill it the first time free. 3. Free velocity testing of your gun. It is very important that your gun is set to a safe velocity. The velocity is how fast the ball flies; this also tells us how hard the balls can hit. The fastest allowable setting is 299 feet per second. We recommend 280 for experienced players playing at a distance, 250 if you have less experience or your playing closer together and 200 if you’re playing in close quarters or with young players. Your gun will not shoot farther and straighter if it shoots harder. PLEASE come in and let us test your gun before you play use it to play against an opponent. You should reset it if you change parts on your gun, if you change paint or even in the temperature changes. Please, do not play with other people unless your gun has been set to under 280 feet/second. 4. Marker set up and maintenance demonstration. We have a factory trained technician and in most cases, the parts on hand to fix your Brass Eagle, JT, or View Loaders. We have technicians that have extensive experience with cockers Tippmann, Spyder and many other brands of guns. We will show you how to field strip, clean and maintain your marker. In most cases, when you leave the store, you will be able to take apart and reassemble your marker. Here are only a few of the safety rules that you need to follow while you wait to take the instruction. Do not use your marker within 200 feet of anyone not wearing goggles, including you. Do not shoot at anything that is not a proper target. Do not shoot people until your velocity has been tested. Learn how to remove the tank from your gun before you screw it on. Unscrewing the tank from your marker is one of the most dangerous parts of playing paintball. You can call us if you need help here. |
